Andy entered the game with little Survivor knowledge but was committed to supporting his tribe. Unfortunately, his tribe was the infamous Green tribe and lost challenges. Andy performed well in challenges and was known as an honest player, connecting most with Ashley Mark.

After the Green tribe lost the last challenge of the day, Andy's honesty was seen as a weakness by Noah and Martin. At this point, the Green tribe made a pact to stay together and infiltrate the Purple tribe, and it was believed Andy wouldn't be able to lie when necessary. As a result, Andy was sent home with a vote of 3-2 against Martin.
