Martin is the runner-up of Survivor: Dearborn - Season 1 and placed 11th on Survivor: Dearborn Heroes vs Villains.

Martin was a force from the minute he set foot in the backyard. Despite his losing tribe, he held a power position, calling shots in challenges and encouraging volunteers. Martin's dominance carried into the merge, where he dictated multiple votes. He found himself in the final three, where he lost to fellow green-tribe member Noah Welker in a 5-2 vote, with his closest ally Ashley Mark receiving one vote.

In 2018, Martin returned for Season 4 - Heroes vs Villains as a Villain. Again he assumed a power position, aligning with big players to call the shots. With this power came a large risk, as he became the target of multiple votes. He managed to find his way to to merge where he continued his reign. Not too long after his alliance members caught on to his threat level and voted him out in 11th place.
Martin returned on production for Survivor: Grand Rapids, helping out on the camera crew and challenge design.

How have you changed since the last time you played?: I have been attending U of M for the past 2 years majoring in engineering. It’s been fun, but when I win this game and shove it in Noah’s face, that will be more fun.

What are you most proud of from the last time you played? Going into the merge with four green tribe member and ending with three of them in the final three.
What, if anything do you most regret? Not ripping Noah a new one at Final tribal.
