Castaway Profile
Anthony Raona
Anthony is a castaway on Survivor: Dearborn - Season 1, Survivor; Dearborn - Fans vs Favorites, and Survivor: Dearborn Heroes vs Villains.
Anthony is highly regarded as one of the best to never win, with each season showcasing his skills. Being Dom's brother, he was one of the first players cast and one of the few with any Survivor knowledge. Within the first couple rounds he found the first hidden immunity idol in the series history. He formed a strong bond with Nate Alford, but not many others. At merge, Anthony was suspected of having an idol and was targeted, but played it at Nate and Matthew Orsichak's discretion - nullifying six votes. Almost immediately Anthony found his second idol of the game and managed to survive another round staying purple strong and voting Peyton Schock off. However eyes pointed back at Anthony, and he was blindsided by his fellow purple tribe with an idol in his pocket, leaving him in 9th place.

In 2017, Anthony returned for Season 3 - Fans vs Favorites as a Favorite. He came in knowing what mistakes he needed to fix and immediately hit the ground running. He solidified bonds with both Upperclassmen and Underclassmen, placing him right in the middle. He soon gained full control of his tribe after finding the tribe idol. After the Favorites' winning streak ended, Anthony played an idol to save Cam Godin and sent vocal tribe leader Matt Orischak home. With a strong alliance of Cam, Matt McNeff, and Andre Senerpida, Anthony dominated the premerge and early merge portions of the game. His game started to crumble after he gave McNeff the second idol that he found. McNeff in turn gave it to Cam, who then burned it at Carly Divis' elimination. At the Final 6, Anthony was committed to the alliance he created but was ultimately blindsided in a 3-2-1 vote, throwing his vote on Santana Davis.
Anthony returned for the finale season - Heroes vs Villains - as a Hero. Again, he played the middle, aligning with both Upperclassmen and Underclassmen. The Heroes tribe saw a strong winning streak, which allowed Anthony more time to idol search. Eventually he found his fourth career idol - a big walking stick he carried to every tribal. Anthony's game took a turn at the swap on the New Villains tribe, with a 6-3 Heroes to Villains number advantage. Despite losing, he picked off the villains and making his alliance with his fellow former heroes stronger - hoping to enter the merge Heroes strong. However, the New Heroes had bonded with the remaining villains and sent Anthony's number one ally Marc Bergeron home. On Day 3, Anthony fought back playing his idol and an idol gifted to him by Brendon Godin on Delano Dalfonsi and Andre Senerpida. He nullified a total of nine votes and sent Alex Petlichkoff home with three, pulling off what is highly regarded as one of the best idol plays in the series history. Anthony's career came to an end two rounds later after being sent immediately to back to back tribals. With little time to strategize, his name was on everyone's mind was was sent home in 10th place in a 6-4 vote.

Anthony returned on production for Survivor: Grand Rapids, helping out on the camera crew.

How have you changed since the last time you played?: Taller, Darker, Handsomer. I’ve become more strategic and am here to play this time, not just to have a good time, but to be clear I will have a good time, that is unless I am voted out 1st or 2nd or 3rd or before the merge
What skills do you bring to Survivor that will make you a useful member to the group and what skills have you been learning since you last played? Surplus of knowledge of Survivor (Dearborn and CBS), I consider myself pretty fit too, at least above average.

How will you play differently this time?\Make stronger bonds. Not look for idols 24/7. Win
