Brendon is a castaway on Survivor: Dearborn - Season 1, Survivor; Dearborn - Fans vs Favorites, and Survivor: Dearborn Heroes vs Villains.

Brendon entered Season 1 with little knowledge of Survivor and was known for his obscure outlook on the game. Yet his legacy is one of the strongest arcs in the series history. Brendon began the game on the Purple Tribe aligning with Jen Lessnau. After she was voted out at the first tribal, Brendon played a lone wolf. At the merge, he outwardly showed that he was flipping to the Green alliance, being drawn in by Ashley Mark. However, Brendon was the casualty of the first idol play by Anthony Raona - sending him home with 3 votes to his name and becoming the first jury member in the shows history.

In 2017, Brendon returned for Season 3 - Fans vs Favorites as a Favorite. He began the game with his brother Cam Godin who previously played in Season 2. Despite the Favorites' winning streak, Brendon found himself in a difficult position as the tribe began to turn on Cam, with a big advocate being Brendon's other alliance member - Matt Orischak. Once the Favorites lost, Brendon tried to play both sides resulting in Cam playing his idol and sending Matt home. From that point forward, Brendon became a committed member of Cam's army. Together, they picked up a joint immunity win and proceeded to weave webs of half truths and lies to both the fans and favs. After a strong run of voting off the Fans, Cam's Favorites alliance split votes on Delano Dalfonsi and Nichole Gersten. However, both had idols and their target was set on Cam's alliance. Brendon pleaded with Cam to play an idol on him, but Cam thought Matt McNeff was receiving the next majority and played his idol on him, nullifying two votes. After the dust settled with three votes nullified for Nichole, three nullified for Delano, and two for McNeff, one sole vote remained, resulting in Brendon being sent home yet again to an idol play.

Brendon returned for the finale season - Heroes vs Villains - as a Hero, and has one of the greatest non-winning games to date. He started the game strong, solidifying an alliance with former Season 1 ally Ashley Mark and receiving a one-time use idol only good for the first tribal from his brother Cam on the Villains tribe. After a strong winning streak from the heroes, Brendon's loyalties would be tested during a swap. He found himself on a tribe of 6 Heroes and 3 Villains. However, the heroes consisted of an Underclassmen majority where the Villains were Upperclassmen and former allies of Brendon. Anthony Raona attempted to make a move and target Brendon, but Matt Orischak leaked the plan to him. Brendon then scrambled and used the idol gifted to him by Cam earlier in the game to convince his tribe he was safe. It worked and the vote switched to Jacob Brenner. Brendon then survived by picking off his fellow Upperclassmen, eventually sending Matt home for the second season in a row. 

Before merging, Brendon found an idol at the New Villains camp and during the merge feast, he found a clue to the merge idol giving him a total of two idols. During the first merge vote, he reconnected with Ashley and his other former heroes to blindside Anthony, sending his right hand man Marc Bergeron home. After tribal, he hashed things out with Anthony and they made a secret alliance that would change the game. The next round, Brendon gave Anthony the New Villains idol which he then used along with his idol to save both Andre Senerpida and Delano Dalfonsi. Brendon continued playing the middle, and won two immunities during his merge run. 

At the Final 7, there was a 4-3 split of guys and girls with the guys set to target Ashley. Brendon convinced the boys to flip to Nichole Gersten, believing her to be the biggest threat. However, Andre was aligned with her and flipped to the girls, sending Charlie Rich home and sparking the endgame rivalry between Andre and Delano. The following round, Brendon used his merge idol to take out Andre. He found another idol during the Final 5 challenge and played it to send Nichole home placing him the in the Final 4. His head to head with Delano came to fruition after Delano won his fifth and the final individual immunity. Ashley and Brendon targeted Stephanie, with Stephanie and Delano targeting Brendon sending them to a fire making challenge. Tragically, the boy scout was not able to ignite his flame quicker than Stephanie and was sent home in fourth place, becoming the final member of the jury and final person voted out of Survivor: Dearborn.

Brendon returned on production for Survivor: Grand Rapids, helping out on the camera crew.
